To add a little fun to your day, why not opt for a wedding package that includes a stretch limousine? Help answer the question about Wedding

What are some inexpensive wedding centerpiece ideas?
I am having a blue and brown colored wedding, possibly with some pink and/or orange thrown in here and there. What are some inexpensive table centerpiece ideas that could incorporate those? Has anyone found any really good websites for this? Thanks!

About Author

After spending her formative years questioning authority at Catholic school and seeking the “meaning of life” (hey, I was an intense kid!), I moved around a bit, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina, before settling in Hawaii in 1999. After 6 months on Maui, I met and married the man of my dreams. We made our home in the village of Haiku with a dog and 2 crazy cats; life is sweet on the slopes of Haleakala!

We used wedaloha.com last summer…Rev. Frank Mak was very nice, very professional, and Roger the photographer did a FANTASTIC job with the photos. They have nice package availabilities depending on your needs and wants. Congratulations and good luck!!

    Congrats on the wedding!

I usually fly to Oahu by Hawaiian Air. Generally, I've found their website to be cheaper than prices I've found on Expedia, Orbitz, etc… Once you get to Oahu, I think there are three main carriers that fly to Maui – Aloha, Hawaiian Air, and Go. They all were pretty competively priced when I went to the Big Island last May. Also, I don't know if their are direct flights from the mainland to Maui.

I don't know anything about hotels and package deals though…

Want to have a simple beach wedding? Get reservations down in Kihei. Look in the Yellow Pages for a minister. We did. She handled the license and flowers. Fee was negligible. She brought her Uke and sang. We used the beach right in front of our condo.

September is a great time to come to Hawaii. School is back in session so it's not as busy and there are less kids.

I would go to Maui or Kauai. Maui is more built up therefore more to do yet not to built up it still has a strong island feel just with the comforts of Starbucks.

Kauai is even more laid back than Maui. Some people get bored with that. Kauai is beautiful nice beaches and a nice island to drive around if you want to do more there isn't much else other than what your hotel offers.

Both islands can be expensive, I would look on line for the best deals you can find. For Maui look for The Westin, the hyatt, and the Sheraton all on Kaanapali beach.
For Kauai look for The Sheraton and Hyatt both in Poipu or The princeville in Hanalei(that is where we honeymooned and we are from Maui)

After you pick Maui or Kauai pick a day to fly(don't take the super ferry it is 4 hours each way and the same price as flying) to Oahu and check out pearl Harbour and drive to the North shore.

If you can, make it 7 days 5 will fly by to quick.
The number one most important thing to do in Hawaii is to sit on the beach and relax don't plan something for everyday to many people plan their trip to be busy, you want to relax and enjoy each other on our beautiful island.

MY advice is dont go through a travel agent, Do soem research online and you are sure to find some good deals. You can get airfar for around $400, go to sidestep.com to search all the airlines at once.

Dont stya in the expensive resorts, stay in vacation rental properties. You can find some amazing places to stay that provide you all the amenities of a hotel but offer more privacy. We stayed at an amazing house in Hana, quiet peaceful and buetiful for about $250 a night and right off the beach. here is a great site to find some. http://www.vrbo.com

There are great snorkeling trips to molikini for around $75 per person includes drinks, breakfast, lunch and open bar. Horseback riding is always romantic and there are so many waterfalls to explore along the hana highway…

I really think you shoud see a travel agent – it won't cost you a thing, and you can ask all the questions you want. Plus while your parents are away they can always call her/him if there is a problem.

I have not been to a wedding there, but I did vacation at the Grand Wailea for a week. It was the most beautiful, nice place I have ever stayed! The resort does do a lot of weddings and there is a beautiful chapel and garden and tons of places for pictures. Also, there is a salon… I got a few spa services and they were amazing.. I'm sure their beauty services are great as well. And the food and service can't be beat!

You'll have to contact them to find out about their wedding packages and costs, but I can definitely vouch for the resort. I would stay there again and again!!

Your one wedding planner should be able to help you with all of that. Hawaii is a very friendly place, just call up a few of them and talk. They should be able to answer your questions and make suggestions of things you haven't thought of. You should find someone you are comfortable with and can talk to easily.
