Weddings in Toronto are a fun, celebrated affair with people coming together to celebrate the joyous occasion of the reunion of two people. However, Toronto hosts marriages with a difference. Be it Christian weddings, or Indian one’s, the city is full of bright and young wedding planning companies which give the clients a variety of stuff to choose from. Banquet halls are booked in advance for the big ceremony and so are the designs of the chapel and the aisle.
In Toronto, marriages are the essence of the city’s culture and it reflects in the ceremonies, be it bridal showers or the décor of the whole occasion. The wedding planners take care of every minute little detail in order to make sure that the wedding is innovative and classy at the same time. The clients are willing to shed all compromises aside for the particular day and that makes improvisations even easier for the planners. You might see huge cakes, amazingly decorated aisles, beautiful wedding trousseaus and Limos at the wedding do. Don’t be surprised, it’s the Canadian way to wed in all the grandeur and royalty.
Church bookings are taken care off well in advance and singers from various leagues are invited to perform and make the wedding an occasion to remember. Honeymoon plans and jewellery, wedding photos and videos, everything is looked after by the company that undertakes a particular wedding. Even the destinations of the honeymoon are planned and sorted well in advance according to the likes and dislikes of the clients they deal with.
It’s all about how much you are willing to invest into the big day that counts. Toronto hosts weddings lavishly and the saying here is not wrong, SKY IS INDEED THE LIMIT, and if you are planning to make a wedding happen in Toronto, be rest assured that once you find the right people and the right channels, you are in for one big party. And the assurance that you are going to have fun, well, its unprecedented and true and worth the praise and the accolades it accumulates all over the world.

What is the difference between a wedding shower and a bridal shower? The wedding shower invitation indicated where they were registered but I thought bridal showers gifts were suppose to be more intimate … do I bring the wedding gift to the wedding shower or the wedding? I'm so confused !

I’m speechless I have no ideal, I guess when ana came to town or something all that I know is cane and lily got robbed once again.
what the hell is Amber wearing
Why are Amber the hoe and gullom talking trash about lily’s dress? They are hating. Amber is so fake she told lily the only reason she hung out with chloe was because shefelt sorry for her. And now she is talking shit? Please they are both hoes with no class. I am so glad that jill put them both in their places because that was really disrespectful. bitches.
I just got married in March '07. Estimate $15,000.
Suggestions:
*Don't pay or take the time to make wedding programs – Hardly ANYONE took them.
*Take care of all the little tedious things 1st, the big things are easier to remember.
*Don't ask anyone in your family/bridal party what they would do or what they want to do. This is your wedding & trust me, you will have your moments where you don't want anyone's opinion. Just remember THIS IS YOUR BIG DAY & try not to accommodate for anyone. It will only cause chouse!!!!
*Take into consideration of the location before you pick your dress. I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress w/ LOTS of tulle on the bottom, but it was an outside wedding. When I got there I immediately thought — I WISH I would have picked a different dress!!!! It was HOT, & it got grass all in it. Just think long & hard : )
Check out http://www.theknot.com — It has SOOOOOOOOO many really good ideas : )
Good luck & congrats!!!
Q – Is the engagment ring traditionally more expensive, or cheaper than the wedding ring?
A – The engagement ring is more expensive. Traditionally the man is supposed to spend 3 months salary on one, but that isn't really done as much these days.
Q – Why are there 2 rings (engagement and wedding) wouldnt that be extremely expensive?
A – Most engagement rings & wedding bands can be bought in a set to save money & then the rings will also match. There doesn't always have to be an engagement ring, but it's just grown to be a custom. When people mention being engaged everyone always wants to see the engagement ring. The wedding band speaks for itself.
Q – Does the guy get an engagement ring too, or is the just the girl?
A – Guys can have an engagement ring too. It's not tradition but it is becoming more popular lately. When I got engaged I bought my fiance a nice ring. Was nothing fancy cause it would just get damaged at work.
Q – Does the girl have to buy the guys wedding ring?
Usually the bride does buy the grooms ring. I think traditionally the grooms parents buy the wedding bands but not all traditional customs are followed thru on anymore.
Q – Does the couple shop for the wedding rings together?
Most of the time, yes. A lot of couples like to have matching rings therefore they'd shop together. But it can always be kept a surprise too.
Q – Also, isn't there an engagement/wedding ring that is like 2 pieces, and when the wedding comes you get the 2nd piece?
Yes, thats a bridal set. Engagement rings come in all shapes & sizes these days so the wedding band is made to fit perfectly with it. My engagement ring is princess cut & the matching wedding band has a square groove in it to fit perfectly. My sisters wedding band is curved to fit in with her wavy styled engagement ring.
=)
A marriage (wedding) ceremony is your first initial union performed by a licensed minister, judge, etc. A renewal of vows ceremony is any subsequent ceremony in which you renew the vows you spoke at your initial marriage ceremony. Renewal ceremonies can be as extravagent as marriage ceremonies. Best wishes as you plan your renewal.
Hi!! I am a wedding planner. I started this when I planned my own wedding and did everything myself. I sat and read and studied for days. I then went out and had to get alot of vendors that would help me with my business. The best advice I can give you is that you might want to take the Bridal Consultant course. This will teach you alot and help you too.
Refresh my mind here… What story did Bryton have?
That sounds great! I secretly wish we were having a japanese theme, but it doesn't go with the colors and overall feel that we have already picked out for our April 09 wedding.
That said, why don't you have little bonsai trees for centerpieces? You can also have cherry blossom branches, but the real ones are expensive and the fake ones are hard to find. Unless you get married somewhere in the Northeast around April, climb a tree, and get crackin'! Lol.
You can always get those pink paper lanterns, have your girls carry japanese fans instead of flower bouquets, and hand out japanese sweets for favors. Also, there are favor boxes and place card holders with japanese kanji on them on theknot.com, you might want to check that out.
Hope this helps, and congrats!
ok so your wedding ring is the ring you get when u are engaged. it belongs on your ring finger [ironic yes?] and that is how u tell it is a wedding ring and not a regular ring. when u actually get married u get the wedding band which goes under the wedding ring. traditionally wedding rings are gold or white gold but realy u can do watever you want.
if it were me id get silver
Oops my bad. So it was all them, huh? Interesting, sexy even, I like lol.
YouGotThatRight!!!!
Everyone comes 2 a reception 4 free food n drinks!!!!
Oh lord, I wish I knew…
I'm terrible at this sort of thing.
We're getting married on 6-13-09 – the idea that I had was to do cream colored tablecloths, with cream colored orchids, in chocolate brown square planters. Our colors are cream, brown, and green (leaves).
Another idea I had was to do a green dish filled with brown river rocks, with a gardenia blossom floating in water.
ya’ll my country ass is pissed the hell off. let me tell you did you know that the nominations for the daytime emmys came out today and LILY AND CANE aren’t even nominated, I seen Jana’s name on there and devon’s name I mean Y&R aren’t even hardly up there, since this is suppposed to be the number on show in daytime it’s doesn’t really show.
Just spend what you can and want to spend. A gift card or a check would suffice. Or, find their registry and get what is within your budget. I never looked at my gifts and thought "Wow, I'm offended that they didn't spend more on me." I was just very thankful.
haha no moaning from me it was all them lol. but ure welcome
In order for it to be a Catholic wedding and seen as a marriage by the Catholic church, you must be married in a Catholic church. Because of the strong stance the Catholic church has on weddings, your friend's cousin will not be able to perform the ceremony or even appear there as a priest unless it is in a church.
I had some very dear friends of mine be excommunicated for "living in sin" because their marriage wasn't performed in a church. They had it in a nondenominational chapel of a location that meant a great deal to them. It didn't make any difference to the church. They were still considered to not be married.
Your friend needs to decide what is more important, an outdoor wedding, or a Catholic wedding.
Good luck.
