Help answer the question about Wedding
Sunset Wedding, if the sunsets at 7:30pm will I have good pictures if my ceremony is at 7pm?I am planning a destination wedding in July and am trying to figure out what time is best to photograph in if I want my ceremony at sunset? The ceremony shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes so if the ceremony is at 7 will I still have good light or should I push the ceremony to 6-6:30? Help!

Great talent Der Mann.
Q – Is the engagment ring traditionally more expensive, or cheaper than the wedding ring?
A – The engagement ring is more expensive. Traditionally the man is supposed to spend 3 months salary on one, but that isn't really done as much these days.
Q – Why are there 2 rings (engagement and wedding) wouldnt that be extremely expensive?
A – Most engagement rings & wedding bands can be bought in a set to save money & then the rings will also match. There doesn't always have to be an engagement ring, but it's just grown to be a custom. When people mention being engaged everyone always wants to see the engagement ring. The wedding band speaks for itself.
Q – Does the guy get an engagement ring too, or is the just the girl?
A – Guys can have an engagement ring too. It's not tradition but it is becoming more popular lately. When I got engaged I bought my fiance a nice ring. Was nothing fancy cause it would just get damaged at work.
Q – Does the girl have to buy the guys wedding ring?
Usually the bride does buy the grooms ring. I think traditionally the grooms parents buy the wedding bands but not all traditional customs are followed thru on anymore.
Q – Does the couple shop for the wedding rings together?
Most of the time, yes. A lot of couples like to have matching rings therefore they'd shop together. But it can always be kept a surprise too.
Q – Also, isn't there an engagement/wedding ring that is like 2 pieces, and when the wedding comes you get the 2nd piece?
Yes, thats a bridal set. Engagement rings come in all shapes & sizes these days so the wedding band is made to fit perfectly with it. My engagement ring is princess cut & the matching wedding band has a square groove in it to fit perfectly. My sisters wedding band is curved to fit in with her wavy styled engagement ring.
=)
I just got married in March '07. Estimate $15,000.
Suggestions:
*Don't pay or take the time to make wedding programs – Hardly ANYONE took them.
*Take care of all the little tedious things 1st, the big things are easier to remember.
*Don't ask anyone in your family/bridal party what they would do or what they want to do. This is your wedding & trust me, you will have your moments where you don't want anyone's opinion. Just remember THIS IS YOUR BIG DAY & try not to accommodate for anyone. It will only cause chouse!!!!
*Take into consideration of the location before you pick your dress. I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress w/ LOTS of tulle on the bottom, but it was an outside wedding. When I got there I immediately thought — I WISH I would have picked a different dress!!!! It was HOT, & it got grass all in it. Just think long & hard : )

Good luck & congrats!!!

A marriage (wedding) ceremony is your first initial union performed by a licensed minister, judge, etc. A renewal of vows ceremony is any subsequent ceremony in which you renew the vows you spoke at your initial marriage ceremony. Renewal ceremonies can be as extravagent as marriage ceremonies. Best wishes as you plan your renewal.
Incredible! He looks so life like. Just amazing…and what a beautiful subject
You’re really good man. You’ve got excellent talent.
whoa!!it looks like a PICTURE!
ur an amazing painter!:D
In order for it to be a Catholic wedding and seen as a marriage by the Catholic church, you must be married in a Catholic church. Because of the strong stance the Catholic church has on weddings, your friend's cousin will not be able to perform the ceremony or even appear there as a priest unless it is in a church.
I had some very dear friends of mine be excommunicated for "living in sin" because their marriage wasn't performed in a church. They had it in a nondenominational chapel of a location that meant a great deal to them. It didn't make any difference to the church. They were still considered to not be married.
Your friend needs to decide what is more important, an outdoor wedding, or a Catholic wedding.
Good luck.
That sounds great! I secretly wish we were having a japanese theme, but it doesn't go with the colors and overall feel that we have already picked out for our April 09 wedding.
That said, why don't you have little bonsai trees for centerpieces? You can also have cherry blossom branches, but the real ones are expensive and the fake ones are hard to find. Unless you get married somewhere in the Northeast around April, climb a tree, and get crackin'! Lol.
You can always get those pink paper lanterns, have your girls carry japanese fans instead of flower bouquets, and hand out japanese sweets for favors. Also, there are favor boxes and place card holders with japanese kanji on them on theknot.com, you might want to check that out.
Hope this helps, and congrats!
Brilliant Willy, Just Brilliant =D
Nice work, you did pretty good.
I think you can try wearing a purple wedding dress, both stylish and elegant. You can choose it at http://www.milanoo.com/wholesale-Wedding-Dresses-c392
Hi!! I am a wedding planner. I started this when I planned my own wedding and did everything myself. I sat and read and studied for days. I then went out and had to get alot of vendors that would help me with my business. The best advice I can give you is that you might want to take the Bridal Consultant course. This will teach you alot and help you too.
Just spend what you can and want to spend. A gift card or a check would suffice. Or, find their registry and get what is within your budget. I never looked at my gifts and thought "Wow, I'm offended that they didn't spend more on me." I was just very thankful.
ok so your wedding ring is the ring you get when u are engaged. it belongs on your ring finger [ironic yes?] and that is how u tell it is a wedding ring and not a regular ring. when u actually get married u get the wedding band which goes under the wedding ring. traditionally wedding rings are gold or white gold but realy u can do watever you want.
if it were me id get silver
